Established 300 years ago as a salt wholesaler. At the beginning of the 19th century, we began brewing miso and soy sauce, and we continue to do so to this day. We use 100% Nagano-grown contract farmed soybeans and rice. Ten of our storehouses have been given Registered Tangible Cultural Property status. Take a miso brewery tour (reservations required). Storehouses and courtyard can be rented for use as an event space.
