Miso Making Experiences

Where the winds blow across the land in Saku and the groundwater of Nagano Prefecture is clear, we in the brewery work hard to make miso, soy sauce, and tsukemono pickles that will bring joy to our customers dinner tables every day, continuing traditions passed down for more than 160 years.
We want to convey the charms of miso more to young people. With that thought, Izumi Brewery has been working to develop a variety of products that use miso. “Kakeru Miso”, freeze-dried powdered miso that you can sprinkle on food, is one of them. Izumi Brewery aims to carve out new possibilities for miso and create a new food culture.
