
Miso Brewery Takamura was founded in 1919, and we’ve continued making miso for generation below the Obasute rice terraces in Chikuma City. All our brewery’s miso brands use only Nagano-grown soybeans and rice. Our miso doesn’t have an overpowering taste and you’ll never tire of it, yet this miso has a definite umami. Furthermore, in addition to miso we’re also working on soy sauce, tsukemono pickles, jam, and more, and our signature products, “Shoyu Mame” (soy sauce-flavored beans) and “Misokura Pan” fresh-baked bread with miso inside, have become popular.
