Ueda Area(Ueda Miso and Soy Sauce Manufacturers Cooperative)
An area where nature abounds, with the Chikuma River (Shinano River) running through it from east to west, the chances of sunny days are high and there is almost no accumulation of snow outside of the mountains. Up to the time of the Great Kanto Earthquake, this was the largest miso production area in Nagano Prefecture.
