Matsumoto Area(Matsumoto Miso and Soy Sauce Manufacturers Cooperative)

Along with the Suwa area, this area has a lot of miso brewers. With Utsukushigahara Highlands to the east and the Northern Japan Alps to the west, it is fertile land where nature abounds. Full use is made of the abundant and high-quality groundwater when making miso.
